Users of the free version of the ZoneAlarm firewall have been presented with a pop-up notification that looks like a virus warning. It states that a new virus has been found which can be only be detected by the full version ZoneAlarm. Users are warned to buy the full version. This is misleading because other Anti-Virus software detects the virus in question and there is no need to purchase Zone Alarm if you are adequately protected by another program.
